Seeing Stars (Again)

Some of you may remember last season's edition of Seeing Stars. I had so much fun with it last time, I think it's about time to bring it back. If you're interested in finding your match you can head over to the site I used (although you do have to register with them). I refuse to put my picture in though. I just know I'll end up with Dame Edna as my match and won't be able to leave my bed for a month.

Anyway, enjoy!

Evgeny Timkin- William Moseley?

Mitch Fadden (had trouble with this one)- Woody Harrelson?

Mike McKenzie- Jake Gyllenhaal?

Mathieu Roy- still Justin Timberlake.

Jared Staal (had trouble with this one)- Kevin McKidd?

Shea Guthrie- Still Robert Pattison.

Alex Imbeault- Mark Ruffalo?

Matt Beca- Jason Schwartzman?

Alex Hutchings- (I feel so bad for pointing this out) Josh Groban?

Matt Pistilli- Nick Carter?

Drew Larman- Dermot Mulroney?

Ross Carlson- still Luke Wilson.

Cedric Lalonde-McNicoll- David Schwimmer?

Mike Kennedy- (really had trouble with this) Michal J Fox?

Francis Lemieux-Nicholas Brendon?

Bobby Raymond- (I had the most trouble with this one) Billie Joe Armstrong?

Trevor Hendrikx-Old school Kurt Russel? (On a related note, did you know his son is a goalie?!)

David Fischer- Jon Stewart?

Elgin Reid- Vincent D'Onofrio?

Mike Egener- (he had a better match, but I'm not that mean) Old school Marlon Brando?

Phil Paquet- still Justin Berfield.

Kyle Lawson- (a little stretch) Josh Holloway?

Jaroslav Janus- Keanu Reeves?

Bobby Goepfert- John Cusack?

Some of them aren't the best, but some of them are dead on. Feel free to yell at me or suggest a better match down in the comments.

YouTube Tuesday

There hasn't been any recent Everblades news, and probably won't be for some time. For now, enjoy this freaky goal by Drew Paris (I'm still mad about the Blades bot signing him by the way).

YouTube Tuesday: Karma Edition

Happy Tuesday folks! A re-cap from the games over the weekend should be up tomorrow (sorry for the delay). Until then, enjoy a little karma in action.

Friday Links

Another Friday another serving of yummy links. Enjoy!

- This is such a cute drawing. I'm so tempted to buy a print.

- I'm going to link to this old but hilarious story. But I'm going to recommend that you think before clicking, it's a bit NSFW.

- Your Wikipedia hockey page- Air Hockey. I don't know what's more amazing, that this is a competitive sport or that the US dominates it.

- These are some awesome hockey themed cakes. My favorite is the Stanley cup cake with the old school Penguins logo.

- This has nothing to do with hockey, but I'm not brave enough to try it myself (it took me forever to scrub my microwave after my last experiment). Anyone want to report back?

- I swear I'll  feed him and keep his bowl full of Molson. Mom, please can I get him?

YouTube Tuesday

Sorry for not posting since Friday, I had a bout of blogging apathy. I'm better now. Just in time for (a late edition) of YouTube Tuesday. I love this video. Enjoy some awesome Polish hockey!

I wish that were legal over here...

YouTube Tuesday

Happy Tuesday everyone! Enjoy this Japanese hockey players painful moment...

YouTube Tuesday

I know some of you have been wondering what exactly the lovely folks in section 113 (and the surrounding sections) always chant when the Everblades score a goal. It happens to be a pretty standard chant, especially in college hockey. I personally would love to chant the "Sieve! Sieve! Sieve!" part but it's hard to start a new chant on your own (ask Roy). Anyhoo, enjoy the taunting, I know I did...

That's all for now.  I will be at the game tomorrow tweeting as always, and hopefully remembering my camera. Most importantly, I get to stay after the game! Anyone who finds me (without any help) gets a high-five!

Friday Links

Another week almost gone, another dose of random links to keep you busy...

- I must own this jersey!

- Your Wikipedia hockey page "Maggie the Monkey", they really do have a page on everything.

- More from my Etsy obsession, this is just too cute.

- Sadly this is true for most of the hockey fans that I've met...
