Do the Everblades Have a New Christmas Tradition?

Almost exactly a year after the Blades mixed it up with the Gladiators before they left for their Christmas break they brawled with the Trenton Titans. Crazy how these things work.



If you listen at the beginning of the video you do hear the radio announcer mention that this was probably in retaliation for Mitch Versteeg's nasty hit on Luc Tardif last night.

Unfortunately, I skipped the first Blades game of the season that I was free to go to for a dinner with family friends. Obviously I have no idea what the true root of this is, but I imagine it didn't happen less than ten seconds after the Blades sixth goal, an empty netter, for no reason. Also, on a slightly related note, The Blades are now sixth in the conference. How insane/competitive is the Southeast division right now? Three teams have 32 points and the Gladiators lead the Conference and division with 35.
