Here's a quick wrap-up of some recent Everblades related news.

- The ECHL should be making an announcement later today. They will be adding a new franchise in Thunder Bay, Ontario. (via the Blades' Blog)

- The EIHL season is underway:

• Brad Zannon scored in a pre-season match for the Coventry Blaze. They went on to beat the Cardiff Devils 4-2. 
• The Blaze (with Brad Zanon and Scott Hotham) played the Belfast Giants (with Mike Bayrack and Mike Hoffman) in a charity shield game the next day, and lost 4-2.

- The Buffalo Sabres signed David Leggio to a two-way contract. He will most likely be playing for the Portland Pirates, the Sabres AHL affiliate.
