- The Florida Jr. Blades are about to embark on their introductory season. It's really amazing how lucky hockey fans in the area are. Two NHL teams nearby, ECHL hockey, college hockey, and now a junior team. Do check out their website, and maybe consider entering a billet application.
- I also have to point out that two of the Jr. Blades players are on Twitter (@JoshStanclift and @Brae71 ). Seriously people, get with the times, follow these guys and follow me too.

- If you haven't heard, the ECHL is taking nominations for the all-decade team. You can read about the four players the team nominated at the Blades' Blog.
- Who wants to start a beach hockey league with me? Apparently, it's the most spectacular form of hockey.
