The ECHL All-Star game ended up being quite an exciting game. The American Conference was able to top the National Conference 10-9. The game had to be decided by a shoot-out, the first ever in the history of the All-Star game. Brandon Buck scored a goal that helped the American Conference tie up the game. Jacob MicFlikier managed an assist on the game first goal as well as a goal in the shoot-out. A.J. Thelen was also credited with an assist in the third. It's great to see the Blades All-Stars do so well, especially with them finally playing at home Friday. Hopefully, they keep the winning spirit going from the All-Star game and extend the Blades winning streak to 4. On a related note, I'm really wondering who will be starting in goal Friday. Brusty has won in his last three starts and it does seem like he should strat. But, does it do Becks any favors confidence-wise to ride the pine? I guess the answer will come Friday...
